Card Swap

Now that I have posted my cards to my swappee I can post them on here too :)

I made the box from some white card then used a transparency to make a see through, slip on cover (you can just score the transparency like normal cardstock)

This one is made using the "A Little Birdie Told Me Set" which is not available in the current UK catalogue...but I am keeping my fingers crossed it is in the next catalogue as it is a lovely set.

This cute little flower is from the "Unfrogettable" set and the background is stamped with the Paisley background stamp.
I used my circle punch to clip the corners of the Certainly Celery and Pretty in Pink cardstock.

More "Unfrogettable" and some designer series paper

And this one uses the Circle of Friends sentiments set and again the designer series papers.
I used Stampin' Up!'s corner rounder with the guard removed to make the scalloped edge.

If you have any questions about any of the techniques or products used in making these cards then I would love to hear from you.

Little Dragonfly

I'll tell you a secret...I used to be scared of dragonflies when I was little...but this one is so cute :)

Base is Pretty in Pink card & ink. Stamps are from the Seeing Spots set.
Mats made using Barely Banana & Mellow Moss.
Sentiment from the Cheers & Wishes set.

The main image is from the Unfrogettable set. Stamped with Black Staz-on and coloured with Stampin' Pastels.

Mellow Moss, Pretty in pink
and Whisper White ribbon to finish.

I frogot!!!

A very useful stamp for those of you (like me ***grin***)
who don't always remember birthdays on time!

Base cardstock is Bashful Blue.
I masked the top half of the card using a spare scrap of paper and stamped the bottom
half using Bashful Blue ink and a couple of stamps from the Little Pieces set.

The image is from the Unfrogettable stamped with black Staz-on and coloured
in using blender pens and Certainly Celery ink.

The scallop circle and ribbon are both Certainly Celery

You're Unforgettable...

As promised another card using the stamps from the Unfrogettable set.

The base is Mellow Moss cardstock this time stamped with two heart stamps from the Simply Said set using Certainly Celery ink.

The mat is Certainly Celery cardstock stamped with Certainly Celery ink.

I used the following masking technique to make the frog look like he was sitting on the toadstool.
  1. Stamp the frog image on card stock.

  2. Stamp it again on a piece of scrap paper.

  3. Carefully cut around the image on the paper, cutting just inside the lines; this will be your mask.

  4. Place the mask on top of the card stock image.

  5. Stamp the toadstool image over a portion of the masked frog image.

  6. Remove the mask .

The images were coloured in using a blender pen and inkpads (Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip and Real Red). Pieces of ribbon (Real Red, Certainly Celery, Mellow Moss & Old Olive) were used to decorate.
