A few cards...

First of all a big thank you to all the ladies who came along to class today. As always you were all great company and it was great to have some time to spend with two of my downlines Louise and Annette.

This was the card I demo'd in my workshop last week. Its a spring card and once you know how to make the folds it really easy but so effective. There's a tutorial over on Split Coast Stampers

I used my new A Rose is A Rose set - I think this might just be my new favourite - especially as I earned it for free during sale-a-bration. Yet another perk of being a demonstrator with Stampin' Up!

Stamps: A Rose Is A Rose, Its Beautiful Wheel
Card: Old Olive, Regal Rose, Whisper White
Ink: Old Olive, Regal Rose,
Ribbon: Old Olive 5/8" Grosgrain
Tools: Stamp-a-Ma-Jig & Wheel Guide

Then I used it again to make a Mother's Day card for my mum (obviously!!! LOL )

I used Tempting Turquoise (as this is my mum's favourite colour) and Mellow Moss.
The "Happy Mother's Day" stamp is from a set called Occasional Greetings and this was stamped with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.

This next card was my swap card. A group of demonstrators over on ILWS got together and made some cards featuring some of the new stamp sets and products from the Occasions Mini Catalogue. We each had to make 9 cards the same and then we will end up with 9 different cards all using new stamps.

Stamp set: Fresh Cuts
The card base is one of the newFresh Cuts Notes
(you get 15 pre-cut cards and envelopes in a pack for £6.95),
Ink and background card: Perfect Plum
Accessories: 5 petal flower punch (in velum) and new oval punch

And lastly today this was the make and take we did at the workshop last week

Stamps: Simply Said, Circle of Friendship
Card: Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Pretty In Pink
Designer Series Paper: Sweet Always
