Little Dragonfly

I'll tell you a secret...I used to be scared of dragonflies when I was little...but this one is so cute :)

Base is Pretty in Pink card & ink. Stamps are from the Seeing Spots set.
Mats made using Barely Banana & Mellow Moss.
Sentiment from the Cheers & Wishes set.

The main image is from the Unfrogettable set. Stamped with Black Staz-on and coloured with Stampin' Pastels.

Mellow Moss, Pretty in pink
and Whisper White ribbon to finish.

I frogot!!!

A very useful stamp for those of you (like me ***grin***)
who don't always remember birthdays on time!

Base cardstock is Bashful Blue.
I masked the top half of the card using a spare scrap of paper and stamped the bottom
half using Bashful Blue ink and a couple of stamps from the Little Pieces set.

The image is from the Unfrogettable stamped with black Staz-on and coloured
in using blender pens and Certainly Celery ink.

The scallop circle and ribbon are both Certainly Celery

You're Unforgettable...

As promised another card using the stamps from the Unfrogettable set.

The base is Mellow Moss cardstock this time stamped with two heart stamps from the Simply Said set using Certainly Celery ink.

The mat is Certainly Celery cardstock stamped with Certainly Celery ink.

I used the following masking technique to make the frog look like he was sitting on the toadstool.
  1. Stamp the frog image on card stock.

  2. Stamp it again on a piece of scrap paper.

  3. Carefully cut around the image on the paper, cutting just inside the lines; this will be your mask.

  4. Place the mask on top of the card stock image.

  5. Stamp the toadstool image over a portion of the masked frog image.

  6. Remove the mask .

The images were coloured in using a blender pen and inkpads (Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip and Real Red). Pieces of ribbon (Real Red, Certainly Celery, Mellow Moss & Old Olive) were used to decorate.

Have I Toad You Lately...

I love this set from Stampin' Up! It is called Unfrogettable and is so much fun!

Base is Certainly Celery cardstock stamped with Certainly Celery ink using stamps from the Seeing Spots set.

The main image is stamped using black Staz-on and coloured using Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquiose and Real Red ink.

Some more Unfrogettable projects will follow soon :D

Heartfelt Thanks

I really love the elegance of the Heartfelt Thanks set - this set is a level 3 hostess set that is not available for purchase but is given FREE to anyone who hosts a workshop ie party :) with net sales of more than £500 - plus the hostess also gets £60 to spend in the catalogue as well as the free stamp set. The set actually includes nine stamps - for full details click on the catalogue link on the right.
This card was made using Perfect Plum & Pale Plum cardstock & ink and Perfect Plum Ribbon. All the stamps used are from the Heartfelt Thanks set apart from the tiny flower used on the Whisper White mat and that is from the Simply Said set.

A quick thank you card:
RECIPE:

I stamped up a whole sheet of A4 Whisper White card stock using two stamps from the Heartfelt Thanks set and Certainly Celery, Lavender Lace & Perfect Plum inks.

The base cardstock is Lavender Lace. I cut a square from my stamped A4 sheet and cut the corners using a circle punch.

The sentiment was made using two stamps from the Seeing Spots set stamped on Certainly Celery cardstock and mounted on a scalloped circle of Perfect Plum.

Certainly celery
ribbon was added to embellish the card

Hoppy Birthday

I made this card for my daughter's friend's birthday last week and then stamped up some tissue paper and made a gift tag to match.

RECIPE:

Barely Banana and Certainly Celery cardstock.

Background stamped using stamps from the Simply Said set and Certainly Celery ink.

Image, from the Unfrogettable set, stamped on Whisper White card stock using Black Staz-on ink and coloured using blender pens and Certainly Celery and Barely Banana ink pads (just press the lid to the ink pad before opening)
